It’s not what happens to you, it’s how you interpret what’s happening. Now, that the changes within our industry are taking place, how do you feel about it?
You can spend your energy on justifying why these changes aren’t needed, or you can think opportunity.
We see the world how WE are and however you see it is true for you. No judgement here, it’s not right, or wrong, it’s just a direct reflection of who we individually are…
Who we are today is based on our past experiences, interpretations, beliefs and assumptions and no 2 people will have experienced and interpreted things and events exactly the same way.
I choose to think opportunity. I’ve always operated at a VERY high standard of professionalism and integrity, probably like most of us here. To me, it’s about team work and as far as I am concerned, we are all on the same team: Lender, loan officer, title, escrow, attorney, home appraiser, NOTARY PUBLIC, borrower, etc. Although it sometimes seems that we are “playing” for the opposite team, we are all interested in getting the job done, in a moral, ethical and legal manner. I have made my list of the tremendous opportunity these changes will start to bring.
Here is one: More respect within the industry for our PROFESSION.
What’s your pick?
